Controlled Remote Viewing

Remote viewing (RV) is the practice of seeking impressions about a distant or unseen target, supposedly using paranormal means or extrasensory perception (ESP). Over the years, the term "remote viewing" has been applied to any technique aimed at sensing what has happened or what is happening in the future, but I am referring here to the specific technique developed by the CIA. This method is called Controlled Remote Viewing (CRV).
Controlled Remote Viewing (CRV) is a highly structured, step-by-step mental protocol designed to allow an individual (the viewer) to perceive and accurately describe information about a distant, hidden, or completely unknown target, using only the subconscious mind.

These days, there are many variations of the original CRV method, and even the original method itself has some slight variations. For example, David Morehouse and Lyn Buchanan both teach the original method and were trained in the exact same military unit, yet there are subtle differences in their approaches. Then came Major Ed Dames with Technical Remote Viewing (TRV), in which he made modifications that—the way I see it—fall somewhere between what David Morehouse and Lyn Buchanan teach. The Farsight Institute teaches Scientific Remote Viewing (SRV), which is highly similar to what Ed Dames taught. Finally, there is TransDimensional Mapping (TDM), which is built on the same core concepts but utilizes dynamic mapping rather than a strict matrix structure to organize the information.
I am highly familiar with all of these variations; however, in my own work, I primarily utilize the technique taught by Lyn Buchanan, while incorporating TransDimensional Mapping and Tarot cards in the advanced method.
Even though the technique is considerably easy to learn and highly rewarding for those who practice it, I find it extremely difficult to find recorded sessions conducted by true experts. This essentially leaves us to rely strictly on the written techniques themselves, forcing each practitioner to add their own personal flair and tweaks to the methodology in order to produce a successful session.

Controlled Remote Viewing (CRV) Phases:

Phase 1: In this phase, you use the target coordinates to make the first contact with the target. This is done by drawing an ideogram; then, from the ideogram's look and feel, you identify the main gestalts at the target site.

Phase 2: You use the five senses to identify sensory information for each of the gestalts that you identified in Phase 1.

Phase 3: You draw a basic sketch to perceive the initial spatial characteristics of the target. This involves shapes, sizes, and even movement happening at the target.

Note: Phases 1–3 are designed solely to establish initial contact with the target, so you should not spend too much time on them. Phase 4 is where you actually begin the core process of remote viewing.

Phase 4: You start the actual process of remote viewing here. You begin filling the matrix (table) with the information that you receive for each gestalt. You also touch on the relationships between the gestalts and dig deeper into what is actually happening at the target site.

Phase 5: This phase has been removed from the standard process; however, it was originally about interrogating specific components and elements that you found earlier in your session.

Phase 6: Originally, this phase involved creating 3D models from clay or similar materials to represent the target. Today, however, it focuses on using a variety of different tools and techniques—such as pendulums, mapping, and tarot cards—to dig deep into the target and extract more information.

Considerations for Practicing Remote Viewing

  • Frequency: Ideally, you should practice daily for at least 10 - 15  minutes daily. Do not let a week go by without practicing, as the ability will begin to diminish.

  • Session Length: Spend about 90 minutes total on each target, taking a break every 20 to 30 minutes. Keep in mind that it might take you several days to completely finish a single target.

  • Feedback Analysis: Once the target is revealed, spend at least 10 minutes analyzing your session feedback.

  • "V-Viewing" Practice: Twice a month, aim to do a session on a pre-revealed target (which I call "V-viewing"). This could even be a target you have already viewed blindly. While this practice might seem pointless at first, it is actually one of the most important exercises for training your subconscious mind on exactly how you want to receive information.

  • Meditation Routine: Although you do not need to meditate immediately before a remote viewing session, it is highly advisable to maintain a daily meditation practice. It is incredibly difficult to get accurate information unless your mind is quiet.

  • Personal Tools: I personally meditate early in the morning and at night on my PEMF mat while using Hemi-Sync. Using these specific tools is entirely optional, but they help immensely.

  • Target Selection: Select good targets. The internet is full of target pools, but you should aim for targets that feature active events or movement. You really do not want to waste your time remote viewing a vague photo where you can't tell exactly what is happening, nor do I think you want to waste time remote viewing a random item hidden in a box—unless, of course, that is specifically what you want to practice.

  • Safety Buffer: Ensure that your first 100 targets do not contain any violence or distressing elements.
